Integration of health care services has been promoted in several countries to improve the quality and coordination care. We investigate effects such integration a model where providers compete on attract patients under regulated prices. identify circumstances which either increases or reduces provided. In absence synergies related costs benefits, generally leads for some reductions others. The corresponding effect benefits depends largely whether dispersion convergence across services.
